Description

The project’s brief was to create a modular housing system that could be applied to one of the Aylesbury estate buildings to offer an alternative to the planned demolition. The underlying themes of easy construction, material efficiency, modularity and customisation take heavily from the Walter Segal Self Build ethos but apply this to the symbiotic rejuvenation of an existing structure.
