Metsä Wood's Kerto® LVL is a laminated veneer lumber product used in all types of construction projects, from new buildings to renovation and repair. Kerto LVL is incredibly strong and dimensionally stable. Kerto LVL delivers its high strength from the homogeneous bonded structure.
Kerto LVL is produced from 3 mm thick, rotary-peeled softwood veneers that are glued together to form a continuous billet. The billet is cut to length and sawn into LVL beams, planks or panels in according to customer´s requirements. See a video how Kerto LVL is produced.
Kerto LVL products are CE marked and certified by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, no 184/03.
Kerto LVL can be further processed in many different ways according to its end-use and the customer’s particular wishes. The further processing service is an integral part of the customer service and supply chain.

The innovative and efficient wood design of Immanuel Kirche was constructed using a rib structure made of Kerto LVL (laminated veneer lumber) beams.
Straagaarden was build with only nature's own raw materials. Using Kerto LVL as structures, the building is firm and green, both at the same time.
2015 /
Use of Kerto® LVL (laminated veneer lumber) enabled the quick and thorough renovation of De Roma cinema building. The 3D design was done in BIM, including acoustics.
1895, renovation 2015 /
Kaifu is a historically listed building, which required particular renovation techniques. Load-bearing structure of the roof uses Kerto-Q beams. The rafters were made of Kerto-S beams.
Schlagwerk produces musical instruments. Their new production facilites (open hall of 1,600m²) are made of Kerto® laminated veneer lumber and glulam.
Wooden frame of the Berlin-Britz open air stage is made of re-glued Kerto LVL (laminated veneer lumber) Q-panels. The frames are impregnated against the weather.
