Metsä Wood has recently been awarded the TTJ ‘Excellence in Marketing’ Award for its ongoing Plan B campaign.
The Plan B campaign, which was developed in order to explore the possibilities and challenge the preconceptions of wood construction, was launched in February and has, to date, been demonstrated on famous landmarks including the Colosseum in Rome and the Empire State Building in New York.
The TTJ ‘Excellence in Marketing’ Award was presented to Metsä Wood in recognition of the stand out Plan B campaign, which has seen coverage both online and in trade publications on a European-wide scale.
Mikko Saavalainen, SVP of Business Development at Metsä Wood, said: “It’s great to see that all the hard work put in to Plan B has paid off. We have been working with world class architects and structural engineers in order to make challenging but realistic designs. I believe that this is the reason so many people have been interested in Plan B”
“The Kerto® LVL and timber products can do much more than most designers realise. Building with wood is the most sustainable option, but also good business”
