Metsä Group's head office, Metsätapiola, has a modern staff canteen build with Kerto columns, plywood and Kerto box elements and battens. It’s obvious that Metsä Wood's wood products can be used to implement impressive load-bearing structures. In fact, the building was so innovative that it won the corporate category of the Iconic Awards competition arranged by the German Design Council. Metsätapiola is also one of the finalists for Wood Architecture 2015 Award  by World Architecture News.
